1. Shipping

We ship worldwide. Shipping is free within Europe for orders over €200. For orders under €200, and for all international destinations outside Europe, shipping fees will be automatically calculated at checkout based on the destination. Delivery times vary depending on the destination, typically ranging from 2 to 7 business days. These timelines are intended as a general guide.

Stecca Optometria cannot be held responsible for customs delays or failed payments, though we do our best to minimize such issues. Shipping times refer to the period starting from order confirmation, not from the moment the order is placed.

Stecca Optometria is not liable for delays caused by force majeure, including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemics, strikes, customs blockages, or other unforeseeable events beyond our control.

Orders will be delivered to the address provided by the Customer during checkout, via UPS or GLS depending on the destination. Any specific delivery instructions must be stated in the notes section of the order. Once the order has been fulfilled, the Customer will receive a tracking link via email to monitor the shipment.

We take great care in preparing our shipments, using secure and protective packaging.

Shipments are not insured unless specifically requested by the customer at the time of order. Once the package is handed over to the courier, Stecca Optometria is not responsible for any loss, theft, or damage incurred during transport. We strongly recommend checking the package’s condition at delivery. In case of damage or tampering, please refuse the package and contact us immediately at shop@steccaoptometria.it or via WhatsApp at +39 366 369 9924.

2. Duties and Taxes

Any customs duties, import taxes, or additional charges that may apply in the destination country are the sole responsibility of the customer. These costs are neither predictable nor controllable by the seller and are not included in the product price or in the shipping fees shown at checkout.

It is the customer’s responsibility to check with their local customs office for any applicable charges before completing a purchase. If the customer refuses to pay such charges, the shipment may be held, returned to sender, or destroyed, with any additional costs charged to the customer.

We recommend checking the customs regulations in your country to avoid any inconvenience.

3. Return Policy

RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL – Legislative Decree No. 21 of February 21, 2014

Customers (consumers) who purchase products from this shop have the right to withdraw from the contract, without penalty and without specifying a reason, within 14 (fourteen) calendar days. The withdrawal period begins either on the date the contract is concluded or on the date the goods are received.

We hope you are fully satisfied with your eyewear. However, if you wish to return an item, you may do so under the following conditions:

• Items must be properly packaged in the same manner they were received, to ensure safe return shipping.
  
• Items must be returned unused, undamaged, and in perfect condition, exactly as received. Please handle them with care when trying them on, so that they can be returned in their original condition.
  
• All original tags, labels, packaging, and accessories must be returned with the item. The security tag affixed to the item must remain intact. Returns missing this security tag will not be accepted and will be sent back to the customer.
  
• Returns are accepted within 14 days from the date the order is received.
  
• Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility. You may choose any courier. Customs fees or additional charges incurred in returning the item will be deducted from your refund.
  

If you believe you have received a defective item, or if there has been a shipping error, please contact us immediately at shop@steccaoptometria.it. Stecca Optometria reserves the right to request photographic evidence before authorizing the return of a defective item.

Please note: the right of withdrawal does not apply to items that are custom-made or clearly personalized (such as prescription lenses or products made to order).

Stecca Optometria reserves the right to deny returns that do not comply with all the TERMS AND CONDITIONS above, or to issue a partial refund if the returned item is found to be damaged.

4. Return Instructions

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you may complete and send the standard withdrawal form available [here], or send an explicit statement by email.

Returned items must be shipped within 14 days from the date you notify us of your withdrawal, to the following address:

We recommend emailing us at shop@steccaoptometria.it and including your order number. We will provide detailed instructions for the return shipment.

5. Refunds

If the right of withdrawal is exercised in accordance with Legislative Decree No. 21 of February 21, 2014, Stecca Optometria will refund the full amount paid by the customer for the returned product.

All payments made by the customer will be refunded, including standard shipping fees (excluding any extra costs for non-standard delivery methods chosen by the customer). Refunds will be processed as soon as possible, and no later than 30 days from the date the return is received.

Refunds will be issued using the same payment method used by the customer at the time of purchase, unless otherwise agreed.
